how to upper lip wax
Let's Sugar Our Upper Lip
1
Skin Prep
Cleanse, dry, and powder up! Clean, bone-dry skin ensures the sugar wax grips hair, not your skin - for a smooth, painless flick.

2
Waxing
Hot or Cold? Go with cold wax for easy, ready-to-use application, or hot wax to open pores for stubborn hair. Mold onto skin, hold taut, and flick away smoothly.
3
Aftercare
Rinse away residue with water and lock in hydration with your favorite gentle moisturizer.

Skin Prep
To prepare your skin for waxing, we recommend exfoliating the area 1-2 days before waxing using either an exfoliating scrub, a loofah, or a dry brush to make the results smoother and to prevent ingrown hair!
Powder Up, Buttercup!
Always apply powder before applying wax onto your skin! This is to get rid of any moisture left and to ensure that Hunnywax grips onto all your hair strands!

This will make it easier to get all the hair in one pull!

HOT WAX 𖦹
HOT WAX
1
Apply powder to your Upper Lip
2
Scoop out a fair amount of wax from the jar with your waxing applicator (always make sure to touch and test the wax temperature before applying it to your skin)
3
Spread the wax opposite direction of hair growth
4
Pat down the waxing strip for 3-5 seconds
5
Pull! The faster and harder you pull, the more painless and flawless the results will be!
COLD WAX 𖦹
COLD WAX
1
Apply powder to your Upper Lip
2
Scoop out the wax straight from the jar with your hand or Waxing applicator
3
Use the tip of your fingers/applicator to mold the wax three times onto the desired area - don't forget to press down hard to ensure all the hairs are gripped!
4
Flick the wax off in a fast motion to pull the hair!
5
Repeat until the whole area is hair free!
